African American History Unit

I created this unit at Hampton Elementary during my pre-student teaching. In the unit, the students picked an African American individual and did research on what made that person important in the history of African American history culture. They then created a poster, and at the end of the unit, there was a talk show, where the students acted like their person, and I dressed up as a wacky talk show host with music and dancing!
