The Easter Bunny at a Neighborhood Party. The work included taking pictures, hiding eggs around the park, and playing with the children.

"Jake" from Jake and the Neverland Pirates for a 5-year old Birthday Party. The work included making the children of the party "honorary pirates" and leading them in a treasure hunt around the room!

John Adams (with George Washington) for a 4th grade Government presentation at Hampton Elementary School. The presentation was a script of John Adams and George Washington talking about the importance of Government and the impact it has had.

Shackathon: A weekend-long fundraising event at Rochester College. We would build "shacks" (like the one pictured to the left) and sleep in them for a weekend to raise awareness for homelessness. We also did community service projects in Pontiac, including Habitat for Humanity and the Micah 6 Community.

Detroit Urban Plunge: A week long trip where we spent time meeting and fellowshipping with the community, as well as did service projects around the Detroit Area. To the left is a picture of a community service project with the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.

Mission Possible: This is a week long missions trip in the area through a local church. The work we did included lawn care, roof care, as well as other miscellaneous jobs for people in need in the Oxford, Pontiac, Auburn Hills, and Lake Orion area.

Community Involvement

Here are someof the different community events I have been a part of!

DRAW (Disaster Relief at Work): After the F5 tornadoes hit Moore, OK in May 2013, I joined a humanitarian organization for the weekend to aid in relief. We cleared debris and fallen trees, helped sort through homes for valuables, and passed out clothes and other supplies to families in need. It was an experience I'll never forget!
